Lenovo had launched the Lenovo K4 Note earlier this Month, and now in a rather too hasty move the company has officially unveiled the K4 Note successor and as earlier reported, the successor comes as a Lenovo K5 Note. The Lenovo K5 Note in line with our earlier report will compete with rival devices from both Xioami and Meizu especially in the pricing.
The Lenovo K5 Note unlike the Lenovo Vibe K4 Note is made entirely of metal with dimensions Measuring 152 x 75.7 x 8.49mm .The device features a 5.5-inch Full HD LTPS display and powered by the all new Mediatek Helio P10 octa-core processor with a speed of 1.8GHz along with Mali-T860 GPU .There is unfortunately only a 2GB of RAM (Lenovo K4 Note has 3GB of RAM )and just16GB of internal storage , but not to worry ,there is a MicroSD card slot suitable for upto 128GB memory expansion.
Other specs of the Lenovo K5 Note are; a 13MP rear camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) & dual tone LED flash and an 8MP front facing camera , Dolby Atmos for enhanced audio performance, a rear mounted fingerprint sensor which can also be used for payments and camera shooter.
The device boots Android 5.1 Lollipop with Vibe UI overlaid out of the box, but a possible Upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow is expected few weeks from now.
The devie supports dual SIM , 4G LTE, VoLTE and some other basic connectivity options .
