Gionee Marathon M5

Unveiled in June 2015, Gionee began sales of the Gionee Marathon M5 in Nigeria October/ November 2015  via Jumia ,Konga and other sales outlet. The main selling point of the Gionee Marathon M5 is its large battery capacity. The Gionee Marathon M5 is fitted with  two 3,010mAh batteries, amounting to a monstrous 6,020mAh capacity battery .Gionee says the Gionee M5 battery should keep you going for up to 4 days on a single charge on light to moderate usage.

Under the hood of the 5.5 inch Gionee M5 is a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable inbuilt storage.

Innjoo Max 2 & Innjoo Max 2 Plus

Both Innjoo Max 2 & Max 2 plus are both pocket friendly smartphones. The only difference between both Smartphones  is that the MAX 2 PLUS  feature a 5.5-inch display , 4600 mAh battery and 13MP primary camera,while the MAX 2 features a smaller 5.0-inch screen, 4000 mAh battery. Other specs & features remains the same.Both devices are available on Jumia @ 21,500 for the Innjoo MAX 2  & 23,500 for the MAX 2  plus.

Xiaomi Redmi 2 & Xiaomi Mi 4

Announced back in Jan 2015 & July 2014 respectively,they both began sale in Nigeria in November 2015 via Jumia Online store.The Redmi 2 is encased in a plastic frame with a 4.7-inch 720p (1280 x 720) IPS LCD display along with 1GB or 2GB of RAM (depending on the version you get). Under the hood is a 64bit  Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor with a clock speed of 1.2GHz & a 2200mAh battery.

The Xiaomi M1 4 on the other hand features a 5-inch 1080p display and its Xiaomi first device to run Android 5 Lollipop ot of the box.Under the hood, the Xiaomi MI 4 houses Qualcomm  Snapdragon 615  octacore processor  with 2GB of RAM & 16GB of  storage.

Asus ZenFone C

Announced back in Feb 2015. The Asus Zenfone C along with ZenFone Selfie, ZenFone Laser 5.5 & ZenFone Go 5.0 debuted in Nigeria earlier this Month at a recommended retail price of about N20,000 {$100}.

The standout feature of the Asus ZenFone C is its its PixelMaster technology’s Low Light mode that lets the handset camera capture up to 400 percent brighter photos at night without the use of flash. The device features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854) display,a 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor ,1GB of RAM,8GB of expandable inbuilt storage ,a 5-megapixel rear camera ,0.3MP front facing camera and a  2100mAh battery.

Infinix Note 2 & Infinix Zero 3

Infinix Note 2 X600 features 6.0-inch HD display, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS,  MediaTek Octa-core chipset with a speed of 1.4 GHz, 1GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory,a 4040mAh battery with dual engine dual flash .

Just few weeks after the launch of Infinix Note 2, Infinix Mobilit has also now released details of its next Smartphone -the Infinix Zero 3 slated for Dec 15 unveiling. It boasts 5.5 inch FHD display,a 20.7MP camera and a  a 64-bit MediaTek  octa-core processor humming at 2.20GH along with 3GB RAM with an intergrated unknown GPU to handle the graphics.
