Xiaomi launched the Mi Note last year with a mouth watering specs, it featured a classy body and, in the Pro version, a 2K display so where could Xiaomi take the Mi Note 2? We think there won’t be much difference between the Xiaomi Mi Note and the Xiaomi Mi Note 2.
However, leaks spec reveal the phone might just feature a performance update over the original Mi Note with a change of chipset, more RAM and more memory. The next gen Mi Note might be a Mi Note 1S or similar rather than a new phone, and from sources, it could have between 4-6GB RAM, options for 32/64 or 128GB memory (there is even a 256GB model rumoured too) and a Snapdragon 820 chipset.
Other leaked spec reveal the phone might have a screen size of 5.7-inch but now will start with a 2K model and the panel could feature a 3D force touch interface.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is also expected to come with a 16-megapixel rear camera (Sony’s IMX295 sensor) with OIS , a 5-megapixel front camera, a 3,600mAh battery with support for 18W Quick Charging and could also have a metal body design. It is expected that the phone will be priced at around 2999 yuan ($465 approx/ Rs 30,740 approx.).
At least this is all we currently know about the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note 2 but if you stay here, you are sure to get more details in the coming days.
