Innjoo One Hands on Review

The Innjoo One 3G HD as it is rightly named is not just like any other smartphones out there, the device is just One More Surprise from the  Innjoo phone makers. It is the first smartphones from the Innjoo ONE series and comes with full metal frame.Innjoo ONE  is  beautifully crafted  with a 5-inch HD IPS screen and a brilliant dragon trail glass on metal finish.

Innjoo one 3G HD smartphone  stands out of the crowd with its  amazing features and its elegant and  sleek design. One phone that really comes to mind at the sight of the Innjoo ONE is the best selling infinix zero from Infinix mobile, but the innjoo ONE is slimmer compare to the infinix zero.

The innjoo ONE harbors much higher mid range specs and is targeted at those who seek high performance while conserving power and its highly efficient battery ensures long use.

Unboxing/Hardware and Design:

What we have in the sales pack is the phone itself, a  Tiny pin for SIM tray, USB cable and plug, as well as headphones and users manual. The packaging is really lovely and not different from the Innjoo red and white colors.

Unlike other innjoo smartphone ,the innjoo one is made of metal frame and a glass finishing. One thing i  love so much about the device is its weight .At 123g,the innjoo one feel so light and slim. The device is slimmer and lighter than its closest rival, the infinix zero which weigh a massive 156g.The innjoo one adopts rounded corners design giving the device the look of an iPhone 5s.

The 5 inch display is the most prominent thing you get to see at the front of the device, but above it is a 5MP camera and the earpiece, you also have three onscreen  capacitive touch button which only becomes visible  when the phone is unlocked .

Innjoo ONE Display

The innjoo ONE is a handy device offering a 5-inch 1,280 x 720 IPS HD display, rendering a 294 pixels per inch (PPI).Images/text/ color reproduction is as close to reality as possible both in doors and out door .

Processor

The innjoo ONE rocks a 64-bit Octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor  clocked at 1.4GHz.The processor backed by the 2GB RAM should handle all your daily needs without lagging behind,You will recall that the infinix zero sports the same 1.4GHz octacore processor. For the innjoo One,a 64-bit architecture  with 2GB RAM mean a smooth and faster performance.

Internal Memory and Memory Card

ONE comes with an expandable 16GB internal memory. The memory is expandable via  micro-SD card slot that supports up to 64GB. So if you  feel 16GB memory wont be OK for you, you can always bump up the memory via micro-SD.

Innjoo ONE SIM card and Network

Innjoo ONE  is a dual SIM/standby enabled smartphone which means that two SIM cards can be used on the device and both SIM card will be active simultaneously. The ONE  both 2G and the faster 3G  networks. The two SIM slots/tray/micro SD tray all all located at the left hand side of the device. The SIM tray is not like every other SIM slot, hence, the device comes with a PIN for ejecting the SIM trays.

Sim/MicroSD slots

Innjoo ONE Camera

Chiefly in charge of the innjoo ONE photography is a 13MP auto-focus  camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP  front facing camera with 88-degree viewing angle .The camera is enhanced to perform well in low  and high light.Features like continuous mode,HD recording and face beauty mode are also in place.

Innjoo ONE Battery

The innjoo ONE is fueled by a 2600mAh polymer battery. The battery lasted up to 18 hours after initial charge -not up to 90% charged. When fully charged, the battery will surely last more than a day of rugged use (Watch out for the Innjoo ONE battery review) disappointingly ,the innjoo one battery is non removable.
The innjoo one runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS on top a home grown InnOS .

Pre-Installed Apps

The innjoo ONE 3G HD  comes with InnStore full of  latest applications and games, InnCloud which offers  you unlimited storage space and  super fast InnBrowser which gives you access to all websites.Innforum app, and inntheme are also on board.

Early Verdict

The  Innjoo One is a solid device with a very eye catching design. It runs smoothly and perform all task without without lagging. It unfortunately comes with a non removable back cover/battery.And also you may have to do without the SIM 2 if you must expand your phone’s memory.Overall the phone deserves a thumbs up.

Thought this phone is not available for purchase yet?

Innjoo are really doing great providing we Nigerians with brilliants features at way too cheap and affordable prices.

I think I love your review. Sharp, self explanatory and well detailed. The glass back for Innjoo one is cool but the non removable issh is a no no.

Thanks for the review. I look forward to holding it too.

    Hello,
Since the battery cannot be removed, whats your take? So what happens in the future if the battery needs change due to long usage?

    • Aloma
I strongly believe that the battery of Innjoo one can be removed, if the so called innjoo people copied the design of Iphone 4, and the battery of I phone 4 can be removed so there fore the batt of Innjoo One can also be removed
link of how to remove and replace Iphone 4s batt

What it mean is that the same tray that serves as SIM 2 slot also serves as memory card slot,so u cant insert the two at once,u are either using two SIMS without memory card or use SIM 1 and memory card,I hope that explains it all?

nice review. would like to see a comparison btw the innjoo one and infinix zero. must say the specs are tempting enuf to pry one away from his infinix zero. is the camera better than the infinix zero’s and does it really do well in poorly lit areas or under direct sunlight. how is the user interface? is it better than the infinix zero’s? would love sample pictures and does it look like it would overheat which is a major letdown of most mediatek chips a reason why am considering moving back to qualcomm snapdragon devices.

    • Ademola sodeke

The both device are great but I prefer the infinix zero cos I can repair it anytime @carlcare unlike the innjoo. And infinix zero camera is based on exmor rs (Sony) which is better when taking pictures in low lit environment

Wao! A friend who bought Infinix zero is bowing for my Innjoo one. As mine is lighter, more portable and though the same memory, RAM and size configuration but the difference is clear!

hello peeps! I strongly believe a bad phone will always remain a bad phone in d sense that infinix zero is of d same market place with that of innjoo one. I know dis phone will heat up even if it’s not like data of infinite zero. Guys look at d Exchange between “zero and One. firstly, d 2 sim of infinix was given out on innjoo on either 1sim 1memory card or both sim without memory card . while infinix has both sim and memory card space. innjoo dully increased d battery life of them phone to kick infinix out of d way due to comparison and Slimfit it’s phone to acquire more acquisitions by customers and admirers .We know d phone is as bad as infinix zero in terms of Camera in low lighted area infact at night. am using infinix zero But I keep experiencing one problem or d other every now and den, after 2to3 months of usage and same will always go for d innjoo phone since day are birds of a feather. I had wanted to order for innjoo one But I laterly had a change of mind. My broda see eh! it’s better to buy London used good phones if u really love phones of higher Specs and ur budget could not carry d bigger price of d phone. Tecno are even far better in terms of cheap and quality if compared to dis innjoo and infinix of a tin only dat they don’t hav good and attractive designs But at least d phantom z mini is as beautiful as dis same innjoo one phone. Tnks for reading, dis is just my own piece of. Advice.

pls can some one explain to me on how to loose this phone, bcos am a technician on phone but on this i seems not to figuer anything on to loose it and service it.

  10. Sum Job

Unless you know what you really want in a phone, you will always complain. Techno phantom is a good phone but it can’t out do innjoo one in terms of performance, design and display. Infinix zero is great phone too but last time i used infinix had rather slow Internet but innjoo is fast

  11. the dawn

as much us all looks cool, i wouldnt go for this phone aftrer seen my best friends suffer so much and there is no place to turn to for service one your phone developes a problem like they always do

  12. Navid

Hi, my new 2 week old innjoo one 3g is not working.
It is not switching on. I tried to charge as well, but the screen is not switching on. Please help.

  13. Last Man

the specifications look good but the product itself does live up to stand the test of time because they keep on having issues and have no service center to help out.

  14. AL

is innjoo one 3g capable of reading the files from the usb through its usb port?
’cause innjoo i2 is capable of reading the files from the usb.
