Homemade Mouth Fresheners You Should Try:
1. Coriander And Fennel Freshener
Ingredients:
¼ Cup Fennel Seeds
¼ Cup Coriander Seeds
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
Sugar Candy (To Taste)
Procedure:
This is a quick step mouth freshener technique that involves some of the basic ingredients. Coriander and Cinnamon can also aid in better digestion and this can be best had after a meal. Dry roast a quarter cup of fennel seeds for about 5 minutes and keep it aside. Then dry roast a quarter cup of coriander seeds for about 2 to 3 minutes and add it to the fennel seeds. Sprinkle a teaspoon of cinnamon powder to the mix and add in powdered sugar candy to taste. Mix all the ingredients well and store it in an airtight container. Use them as per your liking.
2. Melon And Flax Seeds Freshener
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoon Melon Seeds
1 Tablespoon Flax Seeds
Sugar Candy (To Taste)
Procedure:
This freshener is also very similar to the above method, but the difference is that we use a different set of ingredients which is usually not found in a regular mouth freshener. Melon seeds have a nutty flavor and together with the flax seeds can be beneficial in curbing the bad breath that gets emitted. Roast some two tablespoons of melon seeds into a pan and keep them aside. Do not roast them for more than 3 to 4 minutes. Then dry roast about a tablespoon of flax seeds till they start to spurt and add them to the mix. Add in some sugar candy or dried jaggery to taste and mix well. Move the mix to an airtight container and use them after a meal.
3. Coconut And Ginger Freshener
Ingredients:
¼ Cup Shredded Coconut
2 Tablespoon Fennel Seeds
1 Teaspoon Dried Ginger Powder
Procedure:
This is an interesting twist to the usual types of mouth fresheners as it involves coconut and dried out ginger flakes at the same time. Ginger’s presence can be beneficial for your digestion purpose and the coconut shreds can make your mouth smell nice with a sweet flavor. Roast about a quarter cup of shredded coconut until it turns golden brown. Make the shreds very small for easy cooking. Add a sprinkle of dried out ginger powder to the mix and add in about two tablespoons of dry roasted fennel seeds. Mix the contents well and use them as per your needs. Discard the contents once a week as the coconut may not be that edible after some days.
4. Mint And Clove Freshener
Ingredients:
¼ Cup Mint leaves
1 Teaspoon Cloves
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon powder

Mint leaves are loaded with anti oxidants and in addition to that, this can work best for your foul breath. Minty flavors tend to linger in your mouth for longer durations. Hence this can keep your breath fresh for hours together. Dry roast some mint leaves in a pan. Make sure that you don’t blacken them. Just roast them moderately, so that it becomes a little stiff. Take a teaspoon of cloves and mix it with the leaves. Now grind them to a fine powder. Add a dash of cinnamon powder to the mix and sugar candy to taste and mix them well. The freshener is ready for use now.
5. Basil And Rosemary Freshener
Ingredients:
2 Teaspoon Basil Powder
1 Teaspoon Rosemary Powder
1 Teaspoon Cardamom powder
Sugar Candy (To Taste)
Procedure:
This is one of the handiest fresheners that you can try out when you have ulcer problems. Basil leaves are naturally beneficial for your system and add to the other ingredients they can effectively curb bad breath for hours together. Take 2 teaspoons of basil leaves powder. You can also grind the leaves and get the powder after you have dried them out sufficiently. Add a teaspoon of rosemary powder to it along with some cardamom powder. Mix in some sugar candy to taste and your freshener is ready to use.
