Made exclusively for Japanese service provider KDDI Corporation , the Kyocera Rafre suceeds the Kyocera DIGNO rafre which was announced back in as the world’s first hand-soap-washable smartphone . Unlike the Digno Rafre ,the latest Kyocera Rafre is not only resistant to hot water and a touchscreen that be can be used even when the user’s hands are wet or when wearing gloves , it also has has resistance to foaming body soap , making it suitable for use in the shower at anytime of the day.
Its water resistant nature apart , the Kyocera packs a 5.0-inch HD TFT LCD display, is powered by an undisclosed SoC with 2GB RAM & 16GB ROM, runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, has a 13megapixel camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
It has a unibody metal design,with no traditional speaker on the back , packs a 3000mAh battery and comes with support for 4G LTE connectivity .
