Samsung Z2 with Tizen OS likely to launch in India on August 11

The Samsung Z2, the latest in the Samsung Z series of smartphones that run Tizen OS, is likely to be launched in India and several other countries from August 11th.

The Z2, successor to the first Samsung smartphone running on Tizen OS, the Samsung Z1 which was released in January this year, was spotted at the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 unveiling event in Africa with a model number SM-Z200F.


The smartphone is likely to be launched alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in India on August 11th, and there are speculations that it will come with Indian network carrier Reliance Jio’s Preview offer for Samsung smartphones.


The device is expected to come with a 4-inch AMOLED display, 1GB of RAM, Dual SIM slot with 4G VoLTE support and S Bike Model, and will carry a price tag of Rs. 4,499.


After launching in India, the smartphone will head to other African countries like Nigeria, South Africa and Kenya and other countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Indonesia.
