The Moto E3 Power is a slightly upgraded version of the Moto E3 (Moto E 2016). The Moto E3 Power was certified by the WiFi Alliance two months ago, and the device was recently spotted on Zauba, India’s import-export monitoring website.

The Moto E3 Power has a model number XT1706 and sports a bigger battery than its predecessor.

The Moto E3 Power is more or less a Moto E3 with bigger battery, more RAM and more spacious internal storage; other specifications are the same. It sports a 5-inch HD display with pixel resolution of 1280 * 720. It has the same design and make as the Moto E3.

It is powered by the same quad-core MediaTek processor with a speed of 1.0GHz and the Mali-T720 GPU. It however comes with a bigger 2GB RAM capacity. Though the 16GB internal storage remains the same, the Moto E3 Power is more spacious because it comes with less bloatware and an optimised software.

The Moto E3 Power comes with a 13MP main camera paired with a LED flash and auto-focus, while the back houses a 5MP camera for taking selfies.

Like the Moto E3, the Moto E3 Power supports 4G LTE network connectivity via a dual-SIM slot. It also comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and GPS functionality.

The Moto E3 Power has over 1,000mAh’s worth of battery life than the Moto E3. It packs a 3,500mAh Li-ion battery, as opposed to the 2,800mAh battery capacity of the Moto E3.

The Moto E3 Power is already being sold in Hong Kong by third-party retail stores for HK$ 1,098 / $141 / €125.

According to the Zauba listing, the Moto E3 Power is expected to cost around Rs. 5,380 in India. The price of the Moto E3 Power when available in Nigeria will be around N56,400.
