This is the time of the year when most smartphone manufacturers release their flagships of the year, and Infinix Mobility has jumped on the train. New leaks that just surfaced online on a trusted website suggest that Infinix will soon unveil a new smartphone, the Infinix Zero 4, a successor to its 2015 flagship the Infinix Zero 3.
From the leaks, the Infinix Zero 4 is codenamed X574, and features a lot of advanced specs you would normally expect to see in a 2016 flagship smartphone. Let’s see what we should expect from the upcoming device.
Infinix Zero 4 Expected Specifications
The infinix Zero 4 will come with a standard 5.5-inch touchscreen made with IPS LCD panels. The display supports up to 16 million different colors, and has a display resolution of 1920
* 1080 pixels and 440 pixels per inch (ppi).
The Zero 4 has an edge over the Zero 3 in terms of screen protection. The upcoming device will feature a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, which is the latest and best screen protection available at the moment.
Security is hyped in the Infinix Zero 4, as it will feature a fingerprint scanner, a luxury the Zero 3 doesn’t possess.
Under the hood, the infinix Zero 4 will be run by one of the chipsets in Mediatek’s best series of chipsets – the Helio Chipsets. The one present in the Zero 4 is the MediaTek Helio X10 with eight processor cores and a maximum processing speed of 2GHz.
Moving to storage, the Infinix Zero 4 has yet another advancement over its predecessor. It will feature 4GB of RAM, compared to the 3GB offered by the previous device. The device will come in two internal storage variants – 32GB and 64GB with the option to further expand it to up to 128GB using external memory card.
To handle the current mobile photography and selfie craze amongst smartphone users in the country, Infinix will slam a whopping 20.7MP main camera at the rear of the Zero 4, coupled with a first-of-its-kind triple LED flash. At the front there will be a 5MP camera to cater to selfie freaks.
The Infinix Zero 4 will of course possess 4G network connectivity, which is starting to look like a must-have for new smartphone releases. Other conncectivity options basically remain the same — Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS etc.
To make sure the phone stays up long enough for the user to enjoy its juicy features, a 4,000mAh battery will provide day-to-day energy for the upcoming device. It is not known yet whether it will support fast-charge.
The Infinix Zero 4 will boot Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, with the new and redefined Ininix XOS layered on top. Here is a summary of the full specifications of the Infinix Zero 4, those we know of now.:

From the above info, the Infinix Zero 4 could be released between August and September. No talk on the pricing of the device yet.
