The Samsung Notebook 7 spin has been announced by the South Korean Tech giants. The Notebook 7 spin is a Windows 10 based laptop which comes in 15.6-inch and 13-inch display sizes. It has a 360 degree touch display.

The laptop sports a Full HD display and can be used in notebook, tent and tablet mode. Each model also offers a Video HDR mode that Samsung claims makes “content sharper, colors more vivid and textures truly pop,” and “optimizes the video experience, so that every little detail comes to life.”

While each version of the Samsung Notebook 7 Spin computer comes with a backlit keyboard, number-crunching spreadsheet masters will likely gravitate towards the 15.6-inch models that offer a number-pad not found on the 13.3-inch version.

Each model of the Samsung Notebook 7 spin packs an HDMI port, a microSD card reader, a USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 connections and a USB Type-C port that offers transfer speeds up to 5GBps, charging and 4K display-out with optional adapter.

The device can be configured with 6th generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processor and comes with 1TB hard drive and upto 12 GB RAM. It has Intel HD Graphics 520.

If you’ve ever been frustrated by how long it takes a laptop’s battery to refuel, Samsung claims its fast charging technology is here to save the day for the Notebook 7 spin. As the convertible laptop supports fast charging, 20 minutes of charging extends battery life up to two hours. In just 90 minutes, the 15.6-inch notebook will be fully powered, while the 13-inch notebook reaches a full charge in 100 minutes.

The 13 inch laptop measures 12.75 x 8.98 x 0.78 and weighs 1.76 kg while the 15.2 inch laptop measures 14.74 x 10.11 x 0.78 and weighs 2.2 kg.

The Samsung Notebook 7 spin will be available beginning June 26, 2016 at Best Buy and, as well as, starting at $799.99.

It is not known when the device will start shipping to other countries including Nigeria but we’ll keep you posted when that happens.
