Social messaging and picture sharing app – Instagram has introduced an entirely new and awesome logo for its app.
The new icon will come with the latest version 8.0 of the app and looks simple yet nice. The logo retains the camera-style design, but adopts a more simpler fashion with just a blue, orange and purple background.
Apart from the logo, he app’s user interface has had some revamping which gives it a sleek new look that aims to put “more focus on your photos and videos”. Its just a slight change though as the filters and buttons still retain their usual positions.
The new logo was unveiled by Instagram CEO and Co-Founder Kevin Systrom on his personal Instagram account. The tech guru also added the comment; “Today I’m excited to share a new look for Instagram: a new icon and interface”.
“You’ve inspired us to update our look by the way you’ve evolved. We designed our new look to match your vibrant and diverse stories. You’ll recognize parts of our previous icon that you loved, but you’ll also see new parts that give a nod to your creative spark,” he added.
The new-looking interface and logo will be hitting users’ phones very soon.
