Sony unveiled 3 new Smartphones in its new Xperia X series of smartphones at the just concluded 2016 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The new Xperia X lineup is the Xperia XA, the Xperia X and the Xperia X Performance, which is what, is under review here.

The Sony Xperia X performance as the name suggest ,is a performance based Smartphone and by far the most enticing model of the three Xperia X lineup.

To get the most out of the Xperia X performance, Sony packed into the device a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, a quad-core chip assisted by 3GB of RAM. That alone placed the Sony Xperia X Performance miles ahead of the other two X-range siblings, which operates on much lower Chips & Processor. With 3G RAM and Snapdragon 820 processor ,the Xperia X performance is sure to live up to its name.

Like the Xperia Z series, the Sony Xperia X Performance is the only model of the Xperia X range that comes with IP68 waterproof rating, so you do not have to worry if your phone falls into up to 1m of water for 30 minutes.

Other specs of the Sony Xperia X  Performance are much the same with  the standard Xperia X – featuring a  5-inch  full HD displays, 23-megapixel rear camera and a 13-megapixel front .The Xperia X Performance runs on Android 6.1 Marshmallow and backed by a 2,700mAh battery.
