Samsung recently revealed its new entry level smartphone, the Samsung Z1 , as part of a broader plan to reduce its reliance on Google’s Android OS.Samsung Z1 is Sammy’s First homemade Tizen OS based Smartphone.The Samsung Z1 comes at an affordable price Tag and offers some really nice specifications at least for a test phone.

The Samsung Z1 rocks a 4-inch WVGA PLS display,with a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor , 768 MB RAM plus an expandable 4GBon board storage. The smartphone also features a 3.1-megapixel camera on the rear and a VGA camera on the front.
The Samsung Z1 runs on Tizen 2.3, and is officially not able to run Android apps, but that is made possible with OpenMobile’s Application Compatibility Layer (ACL), which will lauch with the Z1 in the Tizen app store.As it is the norms nowadays, Samsung Z1 supports dual SIMs and it is powered by a 1500 mAh.
