Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo Specifications (Details)

Display & Body Design

samsung-galaxy-j1-ace-neo-specs-price

The Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo has a 4.3-inch display with pixel resolution of 480 * 800. All Samsung smartphones from the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge came with SAMOLED (Super AMOLED) displays, and the J1 Ace Neo is no exception. The device is light in weight, at 131g and should fit very well in the palms of its users.

The screen display supports 16 million colors, but unfortunately doesn’t allow stylus input like recent Samsung phones.

Memory & Performance

The storage specs of the Galaxy J1 Ace Neo is an improvement on the Galaxy J1 Ace, featuring 1GB of RAM storage capacity and 8GB of ROM storage over the 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM of the J1 Ace. Of the 8GB of internal memory packed with the device, only about 4.4GB will be available for the user, the rest taken up by the OS and apps. Relax, though, you have the option of expanding the internal memory with a memory card, up to 128 GB.

The Galaxy J1 Ace Neo is powered by a Quad-core processor with speeds up to 1.5GHz, an improvement on the 1.3GHz of the J1 Ace processor.

Power & Battery

The battery capacity of the Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo is nothing to boast about, being a mere 1900mAh Li-ion type. This is accompanied by the option of Ultra Power Saving Mode, which helps to save extra juice when the battery is low.

Connectivity

The Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo offers 4G LTE connectivity, becoming the first in the Samsung Galaxy J1 series of smartphones to possess 4G network connectivity. It also offers 3G HSPA+ network options, as well as wireless connectivities with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n technology and Bluetooth version 4.0.

The smartphone is GPS-enabled with GLONASS location technology. It has a micro-USB 2.0 port which is primarily for charging and data transfers, and does not support USB OTG. It possesses a 3.5mm headphone jack and external SD card slot to expand internal memory up to 128GB.

Camera

The Samsung smartphone packs a 5MP main camera with flash, and a 2MP selfie camera without flash. The rear camera offers HD video recording at 1280 * 720 pixel resolution and 30 fps (frames per second). The camera also possesses auto-focus.

Software & Other Features

The Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo boots Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, which is becoming obsolete in the minds of tech geeks by the day, as the outing of Android’s next version Android 7.0 Nougat draws nearer. However, since it’s a Samsung smartphone we’re talking about here, it is quite safe to say the device would still be getting regular security and software upgrades, and probably Android’s next version when it comes out.

The device features an Accelerometer and Proximity Sensor, and supports multiple languages. In terms of software features, the Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace Neo is not much of a departure from normal Android smartphone features.
