Much like the Xperia X,the Sony Xperia XA is also one to reckon with in the camera department, but this time, Sony wants you to save some bucks, so it has toned down the camera pixels of the Xperia XA ,but still with Exmor RS for mobile sensor, hybrid autofocus, and LED flash.
Design and Display & Processor
In terms of , the Sony Xperia X and the Sony Xperia XA looks very similar ,it is built in a more traditional polycarbonate shell while still retaining the symmetrical design and metallic trim of the Xperia X.It measures 43.6×66.8×7.9mm and weighs a little less than the Xperia X at 138g.
It sports a slightly curved 5-inch display with almost no bezels surrounding it, and a toned down 720p display resolution. Despite the slightly lower resolution slammed on this device, the display from various hands-on review seemed to do well enough, thanks to the onboard Sony’s Bravia screen technology.
Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset (MediaTek MT6755) along with 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB of storage out of the box with the option to expand it to up to 200GB via microSD card.
As a way of compromise, the Camera on the Sony Xperia XA has been scaled down to a 13-megapixel main camera, coupled with an 8-megapixel front camera that would mean a lower photo quality than what you will get from the Xperia X.
But still, a couple of features found on the Xperia X still made it to the Xperia XA – including Hybrid Autofocus with Object Tracking, meaning you shouldn’t miss any good moment,HDR and 5x Clear Image Zoom while the front camera incorporates a wide-angle lens like the Xperia X does, as well as autofocus.
Unlike the Xperia X, the Xperia XA lacks the Fingerprint sensor embedded into the power button ,and also ,the no stereo speakers is absent here while the battery has been scaled down to 2300mAh battery with with Qnovo’s Adaptive Charging technology and 2 days of battery live.
