HP Elitebook Folio 1020 Review, Specs And Price

Stunning, slim design; Responsive keyboard; Crisp QHD display; Dependable security features, etc. These are the best description I can give for the HP Elitebook Folio 1020. The HP Elite book Folio is a stunningly slim business notebook with solid security features. This Intel Core M-powered ultra-portable packs a crisp 12.5-inch quad HD display, a fingerprint reader and an innovative touchpad.

The Design

The HP Elitebook 1020 is one of the sexiest and most portable business notebooks around, sporting super-slim edges and a sleek silver chassis that’s as durable as it is eye- catching. Though the MacBook air looks sexy the HP Elitebook Folio 1020 was able to get more of my attention.

The exterior of the HP Elitebook 1020’s thin edges pack a Kensington lock and HDMI, USB 2.0 and microSD ports on the left, with a DC-in, HP’s proprietary docking connector, headphone jack and an additional USB 2.0 port on the right.

General Performance

Interestingly, the HP Elitebook 1020 is one of the first notebooks to sport Intel’s new Core M processor, which is designed to offer a fair amount of productivity punch within slim, fan less devices. My unit’s 1.2-GHz Core M-5Y71 processor (with 8GB of RAM) mostly delivers on that promise, as I was able to browse dozens of Chrome and Internet Explorer tabs, stream video on Netflix and run a full system scan at once with no noticeable slowdown.

Pricing & Availability

The HP Elitebook Folio 1020 is available in Nigeria at a starting price of N170.000
